Seattle Children’s strives to be a trusted and valuable partner to community providers in the care of their patients and the patients we share. We have developed tools to help ensure patients are treated in the most appropriate setting for their condition, ensuring specialty care access remains open for the patients who need it most.

Patient Management

It can be difficult to determine if and when a patient needs to be referred to a specialist. Our teams have work hard to develop algorithms, clinical standard work pathways, and other resources, to provide guidance on when a patient can effectively be managed in the primary care setting, and when they should be referred to Seattle Children’s.

Information on EpicCare Link, our resource for community providers to access their patients’ Seattle Children’s medical record and quickly refer patients. Plus, the most current information on eConsults.

Seattle Children's is a member of the Pediatric Pandemic Network, a network that strives to coordinate, prepare and enable high-quality, equitable, research-based pediatric care in emergencies, disasters and pandemics.

Seattle Children’s Autism Center is known nationally for our wide range of innovative, effective treatments and services.

First Approach Skills Training

FAST provides brief, evidence-based behavioral therapy for youth and families with common mental health concerns.

Mental Health Resources Hub

Help parents learn how to recognize the signs of a mental health problem and what to do to help their child or teen.

Partnership Access Line

PAL is a state-funded program providing mental health consultation.

Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine

Seattle Children’s mental health providers offer a wide range of services — from prevention and early intervention programs to highly specialized treatments for chronic mental health and developmental challenges.

Washington’s Mental Health Referral Service for Children and Teens

This free, telephone-based referral service connects patients and families with evidence-supported outpatient mental health services in their community.
