More than 100 years ago, Seattle Children’s was founded by a group of philanthropic women to care for children regardless of race, religion, gender or a family’s ability to pay. Their generous spirit remains as Seattle Children’s continues to provide specialized care to all kids who need us, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Our experts, with the support of donors and volunteers, provide clinical care and research in the relentless pursuit to improve lives today and create better tomorrows. There are many ways to donate and get involved with Seattle Children’s to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
At just 3 years old, Hailee was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease that requires ongoing care, including multiple surgeries and weekly enzyme replacement therapy. The financial challenges of Hailee’s care could have been overwhelming, but Seattle Children’s stepped in with life-changing aid, allowing her family to focus on what truly matters: helping Hailee thrive and shine.
Today, Hailee is in third grade and slaying the day!
