- Research Description
-
I focus my research on improving the treatment and outcomes of pediatric patients with status epilepticus, utilizing my experience in Quality Improvement, neuro-critical care, and epilepsy.
My published research draws from multiple disciplines (epilepsy, emergency medicine, critical care, neurology). I have received multiple internal grants focused on our Seizure Pathway of which I am co-owner. I have additional training in Quality Improvement and through my QI work to decrease time to electroencephalogram (EEG) in patients with status epilepticus (SE), I received the 2022 American Academy of Neurology QI Innovation award. I have been invited to speak locally, regionally within our WWAMI region, and nationally.
