Biography
Karen Wong, MBBS, FANZCA
Dr. Wong is a board-equivalent anesthesiologist who specializes in pediatric anesthesia. Dr. Wong earned her medical degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She completed her Internship at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, Melbourne and Bendigo Base Hospital, Bendigo, Australia and her residencies in Sydney, Australia at St Vincents Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, Bankstown Hospital and Westmead Childrens Hospital. She also did a rotation with the Careflight Medical Retrieval Team. She completed a Neurosurgical anesthesia fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Western Australia and a Pediatric Anesthesia fellowship at The Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in Western Australia, Australia. She has been a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthesiologists since 2003. Dr. Wong is the Director of Diagnostic Radiology Anesthesia and a Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
