    Howard E. Jeffries, MD, MPH, MBA, is attending physician at Seattle Childrens Hospital and clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric intensive care. He is the senior medical director, regional network at SCH. He has published chapters and peer-reviewed articles, with an emphasis on cardiac intensive care, informatics, outcomes assessment and quality improvement.

    Research Description

    My research is focused on identifying metrics to assess the quality of care provided in pediatric critical care units, developing scoring systems to understand outcomes following pediatric cardiothoracic surgery and reducing the occurrence of hospital acquired infections.
