Tree Work Sept. 20 to 22, 2023 at Multiple Sites

On Wednesday, Sept. 20, through Friday, Sept. 22, Bartlett Tree Experts will prune trees at Seattle Children’s hospital campus, Sand Point Learning Center and Seattle Children’s Magnuson Clinic. The work at the hospital campus will take place on Sept. 20, and the work at the other two sites will take place on Sept. 21 and Sept 22. Work includes pruning off large dead branches, pruning for light and building clearance, and removal of four failing willows. The work will be completed from within each property, with the exception of removal of dead branches from a large Leland cypress along NE 50th Street across from Sand Point Place NE. For that tree, there will be “no parking” signs placed along the road prior to the work to ensure safety and access, and the sidewalk below the tree will be closed for the duration of the work. Neighbors may hear noise from chainsaws and chippers between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
