Tree Work at Hospital Campus and on Adjacent Streets July 29 to August 2, 2024
From Monday, July 29, through Friday, August 2, Bartlett Tree Experts will be pruning trees at Seattle Children’s Hospital campus. The work includes removing dead branches and trees, and pruning for pedestrian, vehicle and building clearance. There will be some noise from chainsaws and chippers during the work.
While the majority of the pruning is located within the campus, some of the work will be along the perimeter of the property. Along 44th Avenue NE, trees along the west side of the street will be pruned for road and sidewalk clearance. On the south side of NE 47th Street and the west side of 45th Avenue NE, several dead stems will be removed. On the north side of NE 45th Street, across from 42nd Avenue NE, a large dead tree will be removed, as approved by the city through the permitting process. Metro has been notified of the removal and drive lanes will not be blocked for the work. None of the work is expected to impact vehicle traffic.
