Tree Work at Hospital Campus and on Adjacent Streets April 15 to 19, 2024
From Monday, April 15, through Friday, April 19, Bartlett Tree Experts will be at Seattle Children’s Hospital campus to correct tree structural issues, improve safety and reduce the chance of branch or tree failure. There will be some noise from chainsaws and chippers during the work.
While the majority of the pruning is located within the campus, several trees will be pruned on streets around the perimeter of the property. Along NE 50th Street, a large oak will be pruned to remove dead branches and hanging/broken branches; signs will be placed in advance of the work to prevent parking below the tree on the day of the work. Near the corner of NE 47th Street and 44th Avenue NE, an English laurel and Portugal laurel will be pruned back from the driving lane; the work is not expected to impact the drive lane.
