Sidewalk Work Next Week at Hospital and 70th
The week of Sept. 26, 2022, several projects will be happening to improve sidewalks and gravel paths at the hospital campus and 70th & Sand Point Way building. Starting Monday, Sept. 26, Pacific Earthworks will be improving the gravel pathway in the pocket park at the southwest corner of the hospital campus (40th Ave NE & NE 45th St). A power buggie will be used to move gravel and other supplies; pathways will be closed intermittently during this work.
On Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, Precision Concrete Cutting will be onsite at the hospital to perform sidewalk repairs in several locations on the interior pathways on the south side of the hospital property. Crews are expected to work between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., noise from generators and equipment may be heard nearby.
When finished at the hospital campus on Tuesday, the crew will move to the 70th & Sand Point Way building (6901 Sand Point Way) to complete repairs to the interior pathway off of 70th. This work is expected to begin around noon and take approximately two hours to complete. Work is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the case of rain.
